Faith Covenant
Worship Ministry
At Faith Covenant, our Worship Ministry exists to pursue the presence of God through heartfelt praise and skillful worship. We believe worship is more than a moment — it’s a movement that transforms hearts. As Psalm 33:3 calls us to “sing a new song… play skillfully, with a joyful shout,” we respond with passion, excellence, and joy. Worship not only draws us closer to God — it also reveals Him to others and leads lives to be changed, just as Psalm 40:3 declares.

Why We Worship
- It is the supreme purpose for why we were created.
- The central function of the church is to glorify and worship God through Jesus Christ.
- We have a built-in craving to worship. God placed eternity in our hearts so that we would hunger and thirst for Him. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
- The Bible teaches that God desires our worship. He alone is worthy of it.
- To worship is to recognize, honor and express the worthiness of God that He is due as our maker and our redeemer.

How We Worship
- Sing A New Song…
- We endeavor to sing a new song to the Lord by incorporating current worship songs while maintaining a new appreciation and fresh vigor for our older repertoire.
- Play Skillfully…
- We play skillfully by regularly rehearsing our voices and instruments together, not to seek perfection, but to achieve excellence as we approach the Lord with our talents.
- With A Joyful Shout…
- We lift our praise with a shout, for we are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and want the world to hear of His love, His goodness and His salvation!
Meet the Worship Leaders
Bobby & Deana Atkins
Bobby and Deana Atkins are faithful worshipers, gifted leaders, and passionate servants of the Lord. Their heart for worship runs deep — not just as something they lead on Sunday mornings, but as a lifestyle they live every day. With years of experience leading worship in various settings, Bobby and Deana carry a unique anointing and authenticity that invites others into the presence of God.
Both are vocally gifted and skilled in multiple instruments, but what truly sets them apart is their humility, their hunger for God, and their desire to see people encounter Him through worship. Their leadership is Spirit-led, deeply rooted in scripture, and aligned with the heart of Faith Covenant — to pursue His presence with praise. Through every song and every moment of worship, Bobby and Deana point others to Jesus — and our church is stronger because of them.
