The senior adult ministry – 50+ exists to connect people with faith, people and purpose. We want senior adults to know that these are the best years of their lives and we want them to enjoy them as such. We want to engage every senior adult in the life of the ministry through ministry involvement, leadership involvement, fellowship, and activity involvement. We want them to share their wealth of wisdom, experience, and joy within the Faith Covenant Church of God.

Navigating life’s intricate fabric, choices unfold paths to the extraordinary, demanding creativity, curiosity, and courage for a truly fulfilling journey.

Where We Are Going

How We’ll Get There:

  • Bi-Monthly activities that embrace spiritual support, meaningful fellowship, fun, and food
  • Senior Adult small group / Sunday school Bible study
    • Senior adults meet bi-monthly in different home groups
    • Developing group leaders

Partnership with Outreach Ministry:

  • Monthly Cloverdale Nursing Facility Event
    • 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10 AM
  • Community Event Participation
    • Partnering with local outreach opportunities

Special Gatherings:

  • Special services, singing, and dinners
  • Annual road trip

Randy & Kathy Wooden

Randy and Kathy Wooden are the heart behind the 50+ Ministry at Faith Covenant. Over the years, they have faithfully served in a variety of ministry roles across different churches — from teaching and serving to leading and loving on people. Their lives are marked by consistency, compassion, and a deep commitment to seeing people flourish in every season of life.

What makes Randy and Kathy so special isn’t just their experience — it’s their heart. The very purpose and mission of the 50+ Ministry is reflected in how they live, lead, and love: connecting people with faith, people, and purpose. Whether it’s planning a fellowship dinner, making a hospital visit, leading a Bible study, or offering a word of encouragement, they do it all with genuine care and grace.

Their passion for senior adults goes beyond events — it’s about legacy, community, and making these years the most meaningful yet. The way they serve not only embodies the mission of the 50+ Ministry, but beautifully reflects the heart of Faith Covenant Church as a whole. We are blessed to have them leading this generation with such wisdom, warmth, and unwavering faith.
